I have really been working on forgiving some people for past hurts. But, it seems like every time I think I've forgiven them all the sudden it's back in my face and I'm debilitated by anger again. So, a friend suggested I start writing it down. Of course, I'm a stamper, so I couldn't just do that on an ugly notepad!!
I found notebooks at Target for $0.10 and bought a bunch. Want to see it?? I used colors and stamps that just make me feel happy.
Wow, what a pretty notebook. I hope it helps you as you move through your hurts...I think that making this effort is definitely a step in the right direction. Be strong and believe in yourself (and keep making beautiful notebooks!).

Wow, what a pretty notebook. Great idea, too! They say forgive and forget, but at times it is easier said than done and sometimes the bad ole' boy (the devil) or just my mind doesn't always forget and those past hurts just come back. But it is so so much better to just forgive and forget. ;) I've written them in my prayer journal and that truly helps.
I had to smile about you having to make something pretty to write in......a plain little booklet simply would not do! The way I see it........you have a kind heart most certainly filled with love and beauty........thus, you had to write down those forgiven in a place worth of your words as a tribute that you really mean those words......" I forgive you". You have set a great example for all !!
Your notebook is gorgeous and will certainly aid you in the healing process. You know, there has been tons of research on the healing power of forgiving- for you and for them. You will be blessed by it.
I just can't believe how many wonderful people are on this web-site. I have been touched by all of your posts and just want to say thank you.
I have two beautiful, loving children and a great husband, and I just want to be a whole person for them. And I know that's what God wants me to be. I am fighting with all my might not to repeat the legacy that was handed down to me. I will do whatever I have to do. And I know God will help me through it.
Thank you for all your encouragement! And of course, for liking my stamping!
I think your journal is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it.
May I ask some questions? I've been searching the threads and I haven't been able to find directions. Do you use monoadhesive to attach the cardstock to the journal, or do you use something heavier? Also, is there a trick to attaching the cs to the spine? I would like to try this, but I need to know how to do it first.
Thanks!

It's beautiful and I love the idea behind it even more. What a great way to release the stress and improve yourself at the same time. I've had these same issues.
May I offer an idea for a great physical release? I recently bought the Beginner's Tai Chi with Scott Cole. It's fabulous! It's such a great stress reliever for me. After a long day with the kids and all the chaos, it's a totally relaxing thing to do. It's peaceful and elegant. He teaches you the movements, then you move to a beach in Hawaii to practice and it has wonderful background music, very soothing. I hope you'll give it a try.
TEN cents?!! Holy cow! What a score! Wah! Wish I had a Tarshay!

I'm so glad I looked at my subscribed threads! I had no idea anybody had posted on this thread again!!
I did use mono to attach the cardstock. Used a lot of it. For the binding I cut a piece of paper a little bit larger than what I needed, then crumpled it up then used mono adhesive to attach it to the front and then to the back. It actually opens pretty well and since it's crumpled, it doesn't matter that it gets wrinkled when you open it. Does that make sense??

Ya know, I've been needing something like that. I think I might just give it a try. I've done Tai Bo, but never Tai Chi.

I'm so glad I came across this thread tonight. I've been having some unforgiving issues myself. I love this idea. I especially love the colors and the stamp set you chose for this. I'm going to have to do this for myself.
