Question Pinwheels

Does someone have a tutorial or directions for making small pinwheel that will fit on cards?

Here is a tutorial that I watched by Dawn Griffith. She is so awesome!!

YouTube - ‪Simple pin wheel with Dawn‬‏

She did a 5x5 one, but I think I did 2x2 or 3x3 can't remember...;)

There's also a tutorial video HERE using The Cat's Pajamas Pinwheel die - it has 2 sizes of pinwheels on it.

Here's another great pinwheel card that looks easy to do:

Kim has instructions on her blog to explain how she made this.

Can you make pinwheels that spin with the die?

Thanks,
Anne

Actually, a working pinwheel is simply a square, cut diagonally from each corner to about 1/8" from the center. So, you can use a square die, or cut a square with your paper trimmer. Experiment with the size you want for the size card you are making. I made one for my granddaughter for St. Pat's day that was removable from the card and quite large so she could run with it to make it go. It made it through the mail in working condition made with 2 layers of patterned paper. Good luck!
