Is it typical???

Just pondering -- is it typical that after applying for SCS demo membership that it takes longer than a day to get the pm? I am wondering if perhaps, because of the special that there are more new demo's applying than normal?

I think I waited about a week, but it was a really busy time. It's not an automated process, so sometimes the mods get a bit behind.

Mine was approved in a few hours but I definitely dont think that's the norm, I just got really lucky. There is a sticky about this, I think, at the top of this forum that might help

Am home sick through Friday and each time I wake from my little naps I come and peek.

Yes, I recall that it took about a week as the mod gets sooo many requests.

I think it took a couple of weeks for me to get approved (about a week for me to get the initial PM and then another week for my reply with the requested information to get approved). They only process these requests every so often and do a whole bunch at a time. Your patience will be rewarded!
