Default tips/ideas on finding craft fairs??

i've done a quick search and haven't found any information on craft fairs in my area. i know there is at least one big one every year, but on all the sites i've been on i haven't seen it listed. any websites, ideas, etc on finding craft fairs in your areas that you can point me to? also, have you ever done church craft fairs or bazaars and had any luck with them? how did you find out about them if they were at a church different than yours?

I know in Wisconsin puts out a directory of art & craft shows for the year. This is published by the art department of the state. Maybe MO has something like this? I did a quick search and this came up (not sure if any of the shows are in your area): http://www.missouriartsandcrafts.com...on2008.htm#aug

Check with your chamber of commerce too. Many of the events in our county are listed with them. There is/was a publication craftsfairguide*dot*com that lists a lot of fairs in the west. Here is another one artfairsourcebook*dot*com Google craft fair guide and see what else comes up.

Good Luck!

Hi, you could check with your (or "a") local church - our church typical holds a HUGE craft fair in September, and all the other area churches usually follow with Sept-October fairs. Also, check with convention centers or local fairgrounds ~ they hold them hear twice a year, too.
