The oldest catty I have is 1998-1999 and these are in it---
Bold & Basic Greetings
Nice & Easy Notes
Itty Bitty Borders
Borders Mini
Lace Snowflakes
Christmas Gift Tags
I am sure someone has an older catty and may be able to find a few older sets.

This is just a guess...maybe Fantastic Foliage? I think that has been around quite a while. Good question! This will be interesting to find out.

I have a few sets from 1997-1998.

One is Fantastic Foliage and the other is a set of 12 different seasonal stamps (a pumpkin, an oak leaf, a stick-figure x-mas tree, etc.,.).

I think Nice N' Easy Notes. I think it was a hostess set in '96? Maybe? I'll have to go dig out my catalogs and look.

Nice & Easy Notes was a hostess set in 96-97. Bold and Basic Greetings is there, and is also in the 95-96 catalog, which is as far back as I can check. I just flipped through it, and didn't see anything else current.

I just flipped through my 94-95 catty and found absolutely no current stamp sets in it!

I think the winner is Bold & Basic Greetings. I even own it on the rubber mounts (from 95-96)!

Now...will it survive? Time will tell....

Bold & Basic Greetings, Nice & Easy Notes, Itty Bitty Borders, Borders Mini

These were all in the 1996-1997 catalog, which my first. In fact all of these sets were among my first and I still use them with regularty today - especially nice & easy notes - what a great set!

I remember someone saying a few weeks/months ago that Nice & Easy was one of 4 or 5 sets left when Shelley and her sister were still together.
