Default Take Ten Submission ?

I see on the website that they are looking for new submissions for the vol. 5 issue. My vol. 4 is on order and it's been a while since I've borrowed someone else's copy.

So what exactly do they mean by a short explanation of how to make the card? How detailed? Paper sizes, brands and colors of items used? General description?

Thanks I've got a few cards I want to send it but don't want to spend hours making up the instructions if I don't have too!!

You have the right idea. If someone wanted to CASE your card exactly, they could tell by the "instructions" how to make it. I don't think you need to explain paper size. They will list size of card so people will then know what size to use. HTH.

You need to give them simple instructions on how to make the card, saying what colours ink, card stock, embossing powder etc. that you use. The only brand names that you need to give are for the stamps themselves. If you're using all Stampin' Up! stamps say that instead of listing the company name after each (eg: flower [Stampin' Up!], salutation [Stampin' Up!]). I usually just hand write my notes on an index card and tape it to the back of the card.

Please remember to identify the stamp company: it's so annoying to see a great card that you can't CASE because the artist hasn't identified the stamp <g>.
