Is it better to get more expensive items using up your 99 dollar starter kit (156 dollars worth), and the rest of your less expensive items during the first order where you save 30% and get SAB items, OR
is it better the other way around? Get all of your less expensive items with the kit, and save the 30% on the more expensive items.
I know you get 156 dollars for 99 dollars, which is a certain percentage off. But I am NOT a math person and even typing this out hurts my brain.
I'm not sure it really matters, Karen, but I'm guessing my math whiz friend Gail may check in and give you the real solution.
That said, remember that you pay no shipping on your kit. I would love to say: "I got my Big Shot with my starter kit (just shy of $107 with tax) and this $39.95 die plus this $15.95 stamp set FREE!"
versus
"I spent less than $135 (includes s/h & my tax rate) for my Big Shot, $39.95 die and $15.95 stamp set."
But I really don't think it matters where you put your money since you're planning to do both.
What you really want to do is go out an get some orders to add to your first one and earn that 30% as commission.
I get my more expensive items at 50% off as a hostess. With a $400 party, you get one item at 50% off. At $500, you get two items at 50% off and so on. Even as a demo, you can be the hostess and get the 50% off items. Hope this helps!
