SU Ink and Copics?
I'm not usually a big stamper (I stick with scrapbooking for the most part) but I got some Copics for a DT assignment and I'm wondering if my black SU ink is going to work well with them. (Ya know, not bleed and ruin the tips)
Most of the videos I've watched use Memento ink and the only one they've said NOT to use is Stayz On (which I would have gone to first! lol, just shows you what I know. ;)

Ok, I found my answer and thought I'd add it just in case anyone else was wondering. SU Inks are made for use with water based products and should NOT be used with Copics markers. (source: 6 Tips for Getting Started with Copic Markers)

Thanks for sharing that site!
One correction on it though - SU inks are not solvent inks, they are water-based dye inks (the "Craft" ones are pigment inks.) They're not the best choice for Copics. Stayzon is a solvent ink and not good with Copics.
Having tried the SU classic ink with copic markers (on the paper that I tend to get the best results with), the SU ink smears fairly consistently. Inks that have worked best for me: Memento (my standard) and Versafine (needs to dry); haven't tried Adirondack.
The inks from SU are water based and the Copics are alcohol based. You need an ink that will hold up to the alcohol content of Copics. Memento is good but I prefer using the big Adirondack pads and they have them in Black, Espresso, and all the other basic colors.
This blog post shows actual samples stamped in Brilliance, Memento, Versafine and Archival inks, all colored with Copics. Today's Creations: Ink...paper....Copics
