Default SU and Design Teams

Just for curiosity sake....are you allowed to be a SU Demo and still be on a Design Team for another company? I posted this in another thread but thought I'd get more imput here. I would think it's a conflict of interest. And if you aren't allowed to do that, why are there many that do?

Like I said.."curitosity sake".

Stampin' Up! does allow their demos to be on design teams for other stamp companies. They just can't be actively selling the stamps of other companies.

Any conflict of interest that a demo may have by serving on a design team for another stamp company is her own. She may be potentially hurting her own sales by showcasing products sold with items she cannot sell her customers. But if the demonstrator in qestion is just a demo for the discount, or if her customers are so faithful to SU that her use of competitive produts in her spare time (not at SU events like workshops and classes) does not hurt her sales, then there's no problem at all.

At this time, there is no problem with being a SU demonstrator and a design team member for another company. Many SCS members currently do both.
