SU demos - question about exchanges

I know the basic exchange process --- mail back with the exchange form within 90 days of original order shipping date... but I've only done it as a hobby demo (ie -- never had a customer do an exchange). ETA: I am no longer a demo)

If a customer sends in an exchange on their own, does it get "reported" to the demo? I'm asking because I'm having buyers remorse over a LARGE order I just got (the entire lowercase mongram alphabet -- liked it in the catty -- didn't like it in real life -- perhaps I'm a little OCD but the fact the the blocks are so many different sizes just "gets" to me -- this is a $400 mistake we are talking about!!).

Anyway, I'm kind of embarrassed (especially since she gave a buy 2, get 1 1/2 price discount on retiring sets) and wasn't going to mention the exchange unless I knew it would show up in her monthly reports...

Mary Alice, SU has exchanges done through the demos, not the customers. It can be a pain, but I think it needs to be a very unusual circumstance for them to go around the demo.

It will show up as an exchange order in your demo's order summary. She will also get a shipping notice sent to her email when the exchange ships.

Plus you need some information from her in order to send the exchange to SU. Call her, let her know... We've all had buyer's remorse like that!

If I were you (if it's within the 90-day window) I'd wait until Aug 11th to send in the exchange-- then you can get all new SU stuff!

thanks -- I was feeling bad since she had given me a discount and then I was exchanging -- but when I got the upper monograms, I was so excited unpacking the box... couldn't wait to use them. this time I just looked at them and went -- what was I thinking..

yeah -- I just got them yesterday so it will definitely be within the 90 day timeframe... so, new catty, here I come :-)
