Default SU Color Coordination

Anyone have any creative ideas or cheat sheets on how to match SU cardstock? I don't know every color yet and so I am spending a lot of time trying to find good combos. I know there is a wheel, just thought I'd see what everyone does too. If you have or know of any great color combos, I'd love to know about them! Thanks a million!

Well, drat. I have 8 pages I can't seem to upload. I have two sets of Stampin Up color combinations. One of each four groups in three color combinations, and one of each four groups in five color combinations. I scanned them, and can't upload because they're too big! Anyone out there want to email me at [email protected] so I can send them, to see if they "read" right? They are not Stampin Up forms, someone did this on their own and I don't know who to give credit to. They have really been around, and aren't in the best shape to give out, but they sure have a LOT of combinations on each page, 24 combinations on the three colors.

I also like to flip through the inspiration sheets and see what color combinations they have used (both for the main and the alternate). There are some GREAT combos there!

:-)

Do you think the SU color coach is worth the $10 that they are charging? I am a little color-disabled so need all the help I can get.

I bought the color coach because I am most definitely color-challenged. I love it! I would never come up with their combinations on my own. I tend to lean towards mono-chromatic so I really need the help!

My favorite way to find color combinations is on this site. If you go to the main page of the gallery and type the name of a color in the search box it will give you bunches of cards that use that color--it will also list the other colors used so find the ones you like and you're off to a great start!!!! I also use my SU catalog and inspriation sheets. These give you so much more versatility than the color wheel.

That is a great Idea, I hadn't thought to type in the color in the search! Thanks for the ups!

No problem. It has been the BEST way for me to play with colors and find combinations that are me.
