SU Backorders

I ordered the Copper Cord from a workshop at least 5 weeks ago. It is back ordered and I am surprised that it has not been delivered yet. Anyone have any info on this?

Stampin Up is really backed up as they are in the process of moving into a new facility and it doesn't seem to be going as smoothly as they planned for it to go.
Most orders are waiting for up to 7 days before they are boxed and shipped.
My UPS shipments take a week from Utah.

Your hostess may have had to wait for outside orders before she closed the party and that would delay it also.

Also this note was on the web: Please be aware that due to unstable conditions throughout the world, some items take longer to clear through customs than normal. We appreciate your patience as we work through these backorder situations.

All this being said...5 weeks seems like a long time.
Did you call the hostess recently?

I ordered the copper cord on 9/22 and it arrived in my mailbox today. Apparently it was backordered when my order shipped and made it here before everything else. Hopefully yours is on the way as well.

I had a stampin! up party in the middle of August. Three orders are still backordered-the $39.95 toolkits. Up to now my 3 guests have been really patient, but they are starting to get a little upset. My demonstrator said that she really has no idea when to expect them. I think that the Stampin! Up company, not my demonstator, should compensate these people in some way-maybe a 20% off next order coupon, a free stamp pad. Just something that lets them know they are sorry about the delay-and that we value you being a customer. Just my 2 cents worth.

I heard something about the tool kits not passing quality tests and that is why they are delayed! Wouldn't want to have an inferior product!
