Question SU Backgrounds....which is your favorite?

While I've had fun the past month collecting SU sets I now realize I need to invest in a background, or two, or three

So which do you find the most versatile? Which is your favorite?

I've been checking them out and love them all....which can be an epensive problem for me.

Thanks for any advice you might have to help me out;-)

Canvas, hands down. I let a friend borrow it for a week, and it was the longest week of my life! I use it all the time. French Script, Fine Lace, Floral, and By Definition are right up there, though!

I also like the itty bitty sets .. there are 4 of them. not so big but can cover all over, or a little bit..
Canvas for sure! and Cheese Cloth next, then floral, then Print Pattern.

You NEED Canvas, Print Pattern, either Fine Lace or Floral (both would be awesome!), Fine Script and Linen! And of course at least Itty Bitty Backgrounds if you don't have it!

I have Canvas, Soft Swirls, Fine Lace, Weathered, Print Pattern, On Safari (though that's pretty much for scrapbooks) I think that's all. I like each of them, but I think I've reached for Print Pattern the most. Floral and Crosshatch are on my wishlist.

I have the cheesecloth, floral & linograph BG's. I find the cheesecloth very versatile. I also love the floral and get alot of use out of it, too. I'm glad I have the linograph and have done some fun stuff with it, but it's not a particularly versatile BG, so I don't think that would be your first pick. I don't have the french script and wish I did, because I see people getting so much use out of their's. I would say get something "texture-y" like cheesecloth, canvas or the new linen one. For the second choice, I would go for French Script. But, we all have our own tastes!

Wow! You guys are amazing. I forgot that I won the Irish Blessing background stamp that I should be receiving any day now so maybe that one will take care of a script looking stamp.

Now to decide on the texture one. I love the look of the canvas and linen. And the print and lace are nice, too! I'm not sure what the floral looks like so I guess I'm now on a mission to check it out.

Oh decisions, decisions. Why can't I just have all the money in the world so I can buy them all:rolleyes:

I have many of them but the one I always reach for is French Script. I also like the Itty Bitty ones. I do own Canvas but I don't use it quite as often as some of the ladies. I did use Soft Swirls for a little bit, but now I rarely touch it. I'm hoping to order Linen next month and make myself use it.

I like to combine Canvas with Print Pattern. Also Print Pattern with Little Pieces!
