Default star wars invitations

Hi Everybody
I want to make invitations for my ds birthday party. He is sooooo into star wars. I really do not want to use stickers. Has anyone ever seen star wars stamps - or star wars paper? Any suggestions? TIA

You could do black with white stars and print the text on vellum at the 'star wars' angle.

I made spiderman invites and incorporated stamps and the stickers b/c I couldn't find good SPDMN stamps. I made them into spinner card and stamped and embossed the bg with irridescent ice ep-looked cool! It was a fun way to have 1 sticker with teh theme but still have cool invites.

I think the sparkle bg or stars in the bg might be cool

Don't know of any stamps but you could make a light saber, red or white, depending on which "side" he prefers and highlight with crystal effects to give it the glow effect?

You could cut the card into the outline of DarthVader (shoulders & helmet) or R2D2 (use tinfoil for metal). You could use some fun fur to be like Chewbacca.

If you're going to be printing out the party invite info on your computer, go to www.dafont.com and type in "Star Wars" in the search - they've got really cute (and realistic) fonts!

My son is having a star wars bday on Saturday. We used the star wars fonts from dafont (see post above) and he made them himself with just a little help using Microsoft Publisher. We used some space ship clip art with the Star Wars font.

May the force be with you!

I actually have a Star Wars set. Please see the card I did for my brother for details:

Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Depending on when the party is, I could stamp the images onto cs for you & send the pieces to you. I'm in Fitchburg, Wisconsin (right by Madison).

Let me know.

My son had a SW party a few years ago I did navy paper with silver starbursts as the back ground then printed on the vellum with the SW font too. For the party I made a lightsaber cake out of a 9x13 cake cut in thirds, lenght wise then laid end to end. The handle was grey and the saber was blue then I used a lifesaver for the button. We also made a death star pinata, and used the toy lightsabers to beat it open. have fun!
