For those who have stamped their own stationary, what kind of paper do you typically use? We do a christmas letter every year and I wanted to stamp my paper rather than just buy it, but regular printer paper doesn't seem right. Any suggestions?
Now, I don,t do this but if I did I would just use the US White. It should go through your printer just fine. Maybe try one piece and see how it works! Good Luck!
Most letters I get at Christmas are on printer weight paper. I would use that, but spend more for the brightest white and heavier kind. Our US white seems kind of stiff for a letter. OR, why dont you use white or cream Parchment paper, its not that expensive, and will look gorgeous stamped!!

92 bright and above INKJET paper is great to stamp stationery on! Copier paper is not as good, but any brand of inkjet paper is designed to hold the ink in place. AND the nice bright white looks great!
I use Georgia Pacific Advantage inkjet paper. It is 94 brightness and a little heavier than other papers I've used (24lb letter wieght). My artist friend who is in the printing business says that it's a really nice paper!
I haven't stamped on it much, but I bet it should be really nice!

Hi! I work in a printshop, which is really nice when I need printer paper or extra paper for my kids to stamp on so that they don't ruin my SU paper. Anyway, the before mentioned Georgia Pacific Premium Laser Color copy paper 28lb. or the Advantage inkjet paper 94 brightness would both look really nice. They are not as thin as 20lb. and have a crisper, sharper look to them.
