I see challenges for every thing, but I have not seen any for stamping up. Since it is so big you would think that they would have challenges, they need to keep up

How do you start a challenge?? I would be very interested in doing something like this, I just wouldn't know where to begin
If you have a blog, you can begin there. Pick a SU stamp, make a challenge, whether color, sketch, tech. You can even start a group over at bloggers on Split Coast. I want to be number one . And from bloggers you can ask people to join, usually these groups are about 20, they are more easily handled. Once a week you would do a challenge.

We could maybe start by just posting the challenge in the General Stamping Talk form - would that work???
I don't know if we can post a challenge here without it being approved and such. Maybe we'd have to ask a mod about this first, I don't know. Posting a challenge on one of our blogs might be a good way to start.
But this gets me to thinking about having a SU only challenge....would the entire card have to be SU? Would we only use SU images? Maybe creating a card that uses almost all SU supplies? The reason I ask is because all of my supplies are SU, but my ribbon is not. Then you have those who use SU images, cardstock, and such but then they will color using copics.

I would say no to all su. Just the stamps must be SU everything else is up for creative flow. You can start over at Splitcoast bloggers Forums at Splitcoaststampers
it is here where you can start a group. The conditions is that you have a blog and that you blog at lest once a week and that you comment on the blogs that are in your group.

I know it's a lot of work, but I was thinking some of the members could help out. In the blog group I belong to we each take a turn coming up with the challenges and sample card. 20 members seems like a lot to me though- maybe like 10-15? We could always open up the group for new members if someone decides to drop out.
I think this would be great for those of us who love SU but aren't demos, KWIM?
OK ladies I have found a place Mary Fish who has an awesome and creative SU blog has started a group for all, demo's and none demo's. Let's just hop over there. Their challenges are on Thurs. You will love these ladies work.

Another alternative is that I THINK (not sure) that you can actually post challenges in the SCS Challenges forum here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
(scroll down to the bottom half - you'll see there are threads [of challenges] just started by anyone)
Hi, not sure if this is the right place to do this, so please feel free to remove my post if it's not, but...my SU team in the UK have a challenges blog that I run with a challenge every fortnight. We all use SU only on our cards/projects for these challenges and whilst we would like you to do the same, it's not essential. The theme for each challenge varies each fortnight - this fortnight's is Easter.

I've held off on starting a blog group just yet because I know they are a lot of work. I thought about starting one, but with summer around the corner and three children I don't want to commit myself to something that I won't be able to handle.

I have a blog and I would love more traffic, so I would be game. If someone would pm me or post here specifically the steps I would need to take, I'd be up for it.
I am not great at coming up with challenges, so I would like help with coming up with ideas. But I can keep it up to date and post to my blog regularly.
You could make every challenge that's posted already SU Only or at least sort by it. For example in the CAS challenge you could sort in the gallery CAS63 & SUO. Always try to add SUO or MSU to my challenge card submissions so that people can find them quickly. I think you'll find in most of the daily challenges the majority are using SU products anyway.

Mary Fish and the Design Team at Pals Paper Arts post a challenge every Thursday. The team is made up of all SU demos but everyone is invited to participate - your entry does not have to be SU only.
There are bunches of other ones - especially ones asking for SU! color combos or you can always use the myriad of sketches and all band together and do those using SU! only and support each other. I'm a demo but I've been giving so much time to my full time job that I haven't stamped lately so I'd be game if we wanted to help each other out creatively and cheer each other on!
There is a whole other forum that is just StampinUp, challenges and everything. I am on a different computer but I'll run to the other one and link it from my favorites. Hold on.
