stamping on CS

I just received my SU! order. I ordered some whisper white CS and realised that it has a glossy type texture. I am wondering if I can stamp directly onto the whisper white CS with normal SU! inks... or will it run..?

SU!'s Whisper White is an ultra smooth cardstock and it stamps beautifully! No worries;) I love it for stamping and it works well with Copics also!

I have noticed that the SU Whisper White is somewhat glossy too. I had some that I had ordered two years ago and it definitely does not have the glossy sheen that my most recent package did. As a matter of fact, I thought I had ordered glossy paper by mistake and ordered another package and it was glossy too. I don't like the new finish on it. Did SU change their supplier or something? I use PTI now for my white cardstock, but miss my old SU Whisper white.

Has anyone who's familiar with the product gotten any Whisper White recently? I was wondering if it was any thicker than it has been in the past. It is great to stamp on, but I stopped buying it because it felt too flimsy to use for card bases.
