Hey guys! I just tried the Open in a new tab thingy and I was able to comment on over 10 cards in 10 minutes!!! Wicked. No more bah-hum-bugging gallery posting for me! Off I go again...
What does this mean??? BTW, the little icon things are not working so I could not put quotes around the above text.

Right click on one of the photos in the gallery and it'll say "open in a new tab". Click on that and the photo gallery will open in a new tab. I opened 10 of them at a time and just kept commenting until my heart's content instead of waiting around for the page to re-load! Awe-some.
I agree you look at the cards and see WOW a lot has viewed it but no comments.. I too agree makes a person feel good that there is just something there.. When I see a card that I favorite I try to make sure I've commented.. I know some say doing it as a favorite is just the same, but, well to me it isn't
I agree. I find it disturbing to have 0 comments and yet 3 0r 4 favorited on a card. I would leave a comment when I put isomething in my favorites. In fact, I usually say "this is headed straight to my favorites?" Common courtesy I think!!

I haven't added to my gallery much, how do you know if someone has put your card in favorites. Do you get it in your e-mail, or is it on the gallery page? TIA

Here is a link to your gallery, look under the info you included there is a section ''date'', ''views'', ''favortie''. Some one has placed your work in their favorites!! It's very cute too!;)
I'm with the club that tries to leave as many comments as possible, but only have so much time to give to it. It's nice to encourage others; feels good, kwim? 2 a day is the quota I set for myself awhile back. That I can do; anything above that is icing.

Who doesn't get a thrill to see that someone has appreciated their work so much and/or favourited it and taken the time to let the submitter know?? I know I do and am happy to leave comments for others. I figure, if we don't let people know we love their work, they might just stop posting altogether!
I'm still trying to comment more. It does take a little time but it is so worth it. If everyone didn't share as much as they do there wouldn't be a Splitcoast. KWIM?

I would love to leave a lot more comments than I do but the system is too slow. First of all if I leave a comment then I have to go back to Home, go to todays additions and reload everything. The previous button does not work. The whole process is too cumbersom. On the night of Dec 9 there were so many beautiful cards on the site. In my opinion it was one of the best days of the galler. The color challenge was Taken With Teal, Red Riding Hood Red and Baja. Oh my what beautiful colors together. I left several comments but was on line way too long. Wish they would make it easier.
Great idea, I'm stepping up and going to leave more comments. It's a great idea Although I must admit that my gallery is very sparse lately. I just finished finals and haven't had time to make anything :( I love to come on here and look and admire others though!
