Default Size?

What size do you cut for a regular card and what size do you score to fold? I am NEW at this and want to make a few cards. Or try anyway and I didn't know what I was doing, so I thought I would ask here! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

You take a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper and cut it in half which is the 5 1/2 mark. Than fold each sheet in half for your cards.

Make sure your first cutting in half is along the width, not the length. You'd end up with the same size card either way, but with a much narrower folded edge if you cut up the length of the paper first.
Good luck and have fun.
