Default Silent Night---to buy or not to buy

I really like the Silent Night church. I probably wouldn't be as likely to use the words. Do you like the way it looks just stamped in monocolor---no coloring in? For Christmas Cards I don't know if I can get 100 or more cards colored in. But, I love the stamp. I was NOT going to get another Christmas stamp & just use what I have. So much for that! I need to do the program next year where you stamp 10 cards a month.

Anyway, what's your opinion? Worth it? Can it be a single color stamp? Which colors?
Thanks! I need to close my show pretty soon & want to get what I'll really use.

For just stamping and no coloring, I would try Whisper White craft ink on Night of Navy CS. Then again, troublesmom has a VERY nice card with those colors reversed, Navy ink on White CS...

Also in the gallery I like Close to Cocoa ink on Ivory CS.

Default we love it

I run a greeting card workshop for mentally ill and retarded adults and we have been making a card with this set and we love it in all it's simplicity.

We are using (state supplied) light green card stock, stamping with forest foliage ink. We colored in the "snow" on the pine trees, roof, and ground with white colored pencil and then applied dazzling diamonds glitter. It's beautiful!
We have also done it on light blue with night of navy ink. I wish I had a scanner to show you.

It's worth it and soooo simple! Good luck!

I didn't buy the set because I have other Christmas sets I NEED to use, but it certainly has some gorgeous samples that are not colored. In fact, I like them better than the ones colored but they are pretty also. Maybe do some of both depending on your time???

I'm having the same dilemma. I've almost decided to go for it because of the possibility of using this set for other occasions as well (sympathy, wedding, etc.). It really is a beautiful set and can be used in so many ways.
