Well you all KNOW I adore SCS!!! But of course I ADORE Gina too!!!! And both sites see an incredible amount of traffic!!! I love, love, LOVE the wonderful resources of both sites and the friendly and talented and truly good people too!!!!
GinaK has a HUUUGE following, amazing videos/tutorials/challenges, and just the sweetest group of girls designing for her! I can TOTALLY see her site being #1! Either way, home is where you hang your hat, so really, the numbers don't matter;)
How exciting for all of us as papercrafters that there are so many fun options for us and that we can feel part of more than one community. We are a very special breed of people who support each other in so many ways and I feel blessed every day to be part of it.
My daughter Rina is a competitive swimmer. Rina and I have talked alot about being #1.
It's funny... sometimes Rina takes 1st and she really doesn't look very happy. Other times, she will take 2nd or 3rd and she will pump her fist in the air. I asked her about that. She said, "Mom, winning is really about who else shows up. If I raced you and Dad, I would win every time, even if I didn't swim very fast." (LOL! She is SO right about that!) Then she said, "You see, I have a goal time in mind. When I hit the wall, I look at the clock. If I hit or exceeded my goal, I am happy. If I win but didn't make my goal or swam a slower time, it's not really a success to me."
I thought a LOT about that. If StampTV/Gina K. Designs is #2, #3 or lower on the Stamping Top 50 but we are providing high quality videos, a friendly forum, an inspiring gallery and people are truly enjoying our site, then it's a success to me. Alternately, if we are #1 but some of our visitors find our site to be a negative place or the tutorials are not inspiring, then I wouldn't pump my fist in the air either. (Just like Rina)
The bottom line is that both SCS and StampTV provide lots of great inspiration and a warm caring environment. So, whether my site is #1, #2, #3 or whatever, I can look to either side of me on the stamping podium and say, I'm in GREAT company.
Thanks for being so kind to Gina K. Designs and StampTV. We'll always be SCSers too. It's where we started and you never forget where you came from.
Hugs,
Gina K.

We contacted them because they have a bug in their code and the ranking is no longer an accurate traffic rank.
You can always check valid ranks at sites like Alexa.com etc.
Hopefully they will fix it, or we can't use their widget anymore.
Where do I find this widget or look at these stats? While SCS is my first go to site, I'd be curious to see what other sites are on the list. You can never look at too many pages :-)

You see it down on the left-hand side of the home page - scroll down a bit to under the Amazon and PayPal links, and click on the Stampers Top 50 box.
Okay, I found it .... way, way, way down the bottom and to the left on the home page. And, it is saying SCS is #3 now. I've never heard of #2. Interesting.

Gina, you have the sweetest heart. So well put. No wonder you've done so well and can "stand on the podium" with such a happy smile.
I love my all card-making sites and appreciate all of the companies/websites/stores/blog-owners that make the effort to provide such great resources for those of us with a slight 'addiction' to this craft.

You're such a wonderful, inspiring person Gina, if we were neighbors I think we would be great friends.

What a thoughtful, graceful message from GinaK. And I totally agree.....numbers are just numbers. Home is where the heart is and BOTH SCS and GinaK are terrific sites. They each fill a different niche for me, but I'll always be loyal to them both!

Everytime I hear "GinaK", I think "class act through and through". Every post I see, every purchase I make, etc. just screams class. The crafting world is so lucky to have her.
I must be missing something because I do not see the Amazon and Paypal links mentioned above. Nor do I see a ranking. Yes, I am on the home page. Help...
I LOVE SCS, I also love other sites, its all about creativity and diversity of products.
Gina, your message was well stated, you have a wonderful product line and great videos.

Thank you. Yep-just numbers. We just had a release party so that always boosts our numbers. And I am sure SCS will jump right back up ahead of us again now that they have the Stamping Top 50 widget on every page.

I really don't like Gina K. The stuff is priced too high, and if it is taking number one away from SCS, I REALLY don't like it! SCS should always be number 1!

SCS and Gina K. and Papertrey are all #1 with me, the stats don't concern me at all. I get so much inspiration from all three sites. And I agree, Gina K. is a CLASS ACT all the way.
