Default Rubicoil question

I have fallen in love with some of the projects I've seen using the rubicoil. Can anyone tell me the best place to get one for the best price? And are they easy, moderate, difficult to use? Is there anything, tricks of the trade so to speak, that I need to know before I invest in one of these? Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Thanks for asking, as I want to know as well. Is there one to get, or if I buy A will I regret not having B later - ie, size and features. And who has the best price?

Here's where I got mine:

http://www.filmsourceinc.net/coil_sp...nes_5_ctg.html

quite a few have gotten their's there too. Also, I know a few have bought their Rubi at Laminator somthing or other. Do search, there a few threads on this, or else do a froogle search.

I chose this site because you get the crimpers with it (yes, a must) and $24 in coils. I got all one size of coils, but now I wish I had gotten a mix of different sizes.

This is simple and easy to use (the crimpers take a little getting used to though). It's not a cheap toy, but let me warn you, you want one, so you WILL get one

Have fun!

So, which one did you guys get? the 169.00 pkg! Do you need the hole punch seperate or does it already do that. What do you guys use it for. Making notepads for hostesses? It looks cool but is it worth the investment? Especially with the new catty/paper? It looks like some come with coils. Help! I've never seen this before!

You can coil anything you can envision. I have so far made notebooks, set samplers, coiled some inspirations sheets. If you go to my gallery, there is a project I just did with my Rubi.

It's a lot of fun.

You can do searches in the forums and in the gallery. Just type rubicoil in each. In the forums you will see a few posts with rubicoil in the title, read these for alot of good information on which to buy, where to buy , and what type coils to get. You will even see a few examples in members attachments. If you do search in gallery, you'll see some beautiful examples.
Beware...once you look......you'll be hooked!!
p.s. I would have added links to see the forums and gallery but I do not know how to do that yet.

I got mine from Laminatorwarehouse.com. But, Film Source seems to have a pretty good deal.
