Ok veteran SU users could someone please explain the differences between some of the rubber colors. My understanding that purple was for hostess sets but I've got some that are kinda white as well? Sorry if this has been asked before I did a quick search but couldn't seem to find anything.
The Sellabration rubber color changes each year. It has been Sage, blue, pink, caramel & lavendar. I have some in every color. And my Greeting for All Reasons is lavendar from when it was a hostess set.
I even have some in Forest foliage & creamy caramel. I love the forest foliage, it doesn't show stains on the rubber. I think the white is probably the creamy caramel!

When did the Forest come out? I've been buying SU! & been a demo for over 6 years, and I've never come across a set with forest rubber. I think having the darker rubber would be great for not showing stains, but it seems like it would make it harder to see if you inked it well!
Thanks for all the replies it's really interesting to learn that. I don't think the different colors of rubber are hard to use personally. In fact there are some non-SU stamp companies that use different colors for example Stamp Zia is teal and Onyx uses black rubber and you can still see the ink.
I've been a demo for 11 years so I can't remember exactly when forest was used but it was the first time they used a color. I would guess it to be about 8 years ago. My DD is six and I know it was before I was pregant this last time. I could go look and then let you know for sure. I am not really looking forward to digging through things today, though.
