Default Ribbon Club Question

My demo for stampin up is starting a ribbon club. I would love to join it...but I am hesitant because of storage for the ribbon. How do you all store your ribbon once you recieve it? I dont want to end up with 2.5 yards of each color that is crinkled up messy ribbon!

Smile RIBBON

I am wondering the same thing.
But I did a ribbon swap and so far have left the ribbon in the clear gallon ziploc bags from the swap, sorted by type/size. I put the bags in a drawer, not squished, and just pull out the bag with the type of ribbon in it I am looking for. So far it has worked fine and when I pull out the bag and set in on the table the ribbon is all there without falling all over and I can see all the colors. It's also been really mobile, grab the bag and go. The only one that is loose is the 7/8 organdy because it is too hard to move around in the bag.

My other option was to switch to the photo box or plastic shoe box with the holes in the sides. There is a hole for each color and you just pull it out and snip. This is what I should do with the 7/8", hmmm... sounds like a winter project.

I wouldn't let the storage stop you from the club/swap. I would never have bought all the colors without doing a swap.
