Has anyone gone to a scrapbooking retreat here?

Do they host classes, demo's and or make and takes.?

Or, do they just offer the space and you bring your own stuff?

I just requested info from them, but thought I would get a better response here

Does nyone know if they offer shuttle service to/from the nearest airport?


Any info you can share would be greatfully appciated! :-)

I have never been but I googled it and it sounds like a great deal. I would be curious to hear how it goes.

They replied to my email saying theybdo not offer classes, and that they are limited to 12 people.
The closest airports are all about 2 hrs away, no mention of shuttle service.

It still sounds fun though!

It does sound fun! I go to a 4 day one, held twice a year, that is held up in Lincoln NH. They do offer classes that cost extra but everything else (room, food and soda, coffee etc) is included. There are around 140 people at each one. It's an awesome weekend but not sure if there are any airports near there either.
The smaller venue at Quail Hollow sounds like a lot of fun for getting together with friends.

I think they also offer other dates if you have at least 8 people, which is pretty nice!

Our next retreat is at the beautiful Lindsay Lodge in Heber Utah. May 2-5th 2013. This event is all-inclusive. All types of crafters welcome! Homemade meals with beverages provided! Price includes a bed, a shared 6 foot table and use of on-site tools.

New to scrapbooking or not a scrapbooker and unaware what retreats are all about? Well, imagine packing up luggage for a typical family of 4, full only with your craft items of choice (papers, adhesives, embellishments, albums, tools, stickers, etc.) then cramming one more tote bag in your van containing just your change of clothes & toiletries. Then you drive (usually with a couple of like-minded crafty friends) spectacular house in Heber City (overlooking the Heber Valley), you set up at a table on Thursday and work on your crafts of choice all weekend until Sunday, taking breaks only to eat & sleep a few hours. ECSTASY . . .......

Want to sew? Make cards? Knit? Digital Scrapbook? Watch movies in an awesome theater room? Just get away? This is the time for YOU! This could possibly be the best thing ever.

We will have 3 Cricut machines and over 75 cartridges for everyone to use and 50+ punches. There will be a masseuse available, $40 for 1 hr and $20 for 1/2 hr. The cost $165 per person, unless you would opt for a top bunk or an air mattress and then the cost is $155. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. Check-in is anytime after 4 on Thursday.

We have gone to quaill hollow inn a few times and LOVED it! The food is good, the hosts are very nice. It is a very quiet area. It is right near the real Vermont Country Store, they have a catalog. We have had a good size group both times.
