Default Really dumb mistake

Aaaaaaaaa! I just re-inked my Night of Navy Classic pad with Basic Brown ink!

I re-inked my NoN pad with NoN ink an hour ago and just now tested it to see if it needed more ink. I thought a bit more would make my NoN pad like new. After I applied a fairly generous amount of ink to the pad I realized I had grabbed my brand new Basic Brown re-inker I had yet to put away. Seems I put the NoN re-inker away already! I didn't even think about it - I just assumed I left the NoN out. Really dumb! I immediately ran the ink pad under water in hopes of washing out the Basic Brown before it set in. Most of the ink that ran out was blue, however it's pretty hard to tell the difference between BB and NoN when they're all mixed together like that. I blotted it dry with paper towel and am going to let the pad sit open to dry at least overnight. Has anyone else ever done anything like this? What did you do to fix it? And were you successful?

Oh well. At least it wasn't a Barely Banana pad. That would look really bad even if the pad could be saved. And if it is ruined, it's only $4.95. No biggie to replace it I guess!
