Default Radiant Pearls

Am I the only person that still uses Radiant Pearls?

Just wondering...

SU used to carry them and I bought them all at the time. I haven't sold any of them because I still like using them for "personal" cards.

Its just easier for me get out the old CD's and paint with 'em than mixing Pearl Ex with Lumiere... only to have it dry up....

Am I the only one?!???!!!

I guess if no one answers this post I will have my answer... LOL

I just discovered Radiant Pearls last year only to find out SU doesn't sell it anymore. So....I went on a holy grail search and found some at a scrapbooking store an hour away from me. I LOVE that stuff!!! You're not alone!

I've only used it so far to paint the inside of butterflies. What do you use yours with?

Its really awesome stuff to emboss with. You color in your images and throw on embossing powder and you've got a gorgeous piece of entirely embossed image!

PLUS if you have only a few colors, you can mix your own really easily on a CD to get custom-made colors. AND, there is no waste, because you can close the CD case and a month or even a year from now, your own custom made color will still be useable!

I have several CDs in cases that I mixed my own colors and I have them organized in a stand alone CD rack with labels.

You can also mix and blend colors and highlights right on your paper as you are using it. I find that it is more difficult to use Pearl Ex to get good blends while coloring in your image. RP is more forgiving.

Default Radiant Pearls

I still use mine and love them. I wish SU still carried them. I too find them much easier to work with. Maybe I just haven't played with my PE enough.

I've never thought about putting embossing powder on top of RP! Wow, that's a cool idea! Guess what I'm gonna do next time!?!?!

My demo/now upline told me the CD trick, and I've got 4 CD-s ready to use anytime I pull out my RPs. It really works great. I left some colors on there and a week later, I was still able to use them. Love that!

Hi!
I still use my RP's too. I like that I can blend the colors to suit my need, and then still use them a week or so later.
