Default Quick ? about the $99 sign up

I am still in the land of debate between the $99 and $199 sign up choices. Can you tell me if both or only the latter signup gets the 30% off the first order within 45 days? That is a major consideration for me.

I think both do, but a current demo needs to answer this, so I'm bumping this for you.

Hi there!! I'm an SU demonstrator, I have a friend that is signing up this week as a demonstrator. My understanding as the difference between the 99 and the 199 starter kits is just what is IN the kits...that's all. The 99 kit is great for those who have a lot of SU stuff and wouldn't necissarly need all the products.

Besides getting the Polka Dot Paisley set FREE when you sign up you also get to pick any set out of the current catalog up to a $39.95 value for FREE!!! This is for EITHER kit you sign up on. You just write the set you want on the top of the Starter kit form...if nothing is written you will get the A to Zany set as your set.

So to answer the %30 question yes you should be able to get that also.

Good Luck with everything..if you have any other questions...let me know I'd try to help!!

I would double check on the FREE set from the IBC. My understanding was that the $99 kit came with Polka Dot & Paisley, but not the additional free set. You only get the other FREE set from the IBC with the 199 kit.

You will be able to get the 30% off the first workshop order ($150 in product or more) within 45 days regardless of which kit you decide to go with. If you already have a lot of basic tools and have a lot of things that a re not included in the atarter kit on your wish list, then the $99 kit is the way to go.

On the other hand, if you're thinking of buying the other things that are included in the starter kit, you may want to reconsider, because you're actually getting a fab discount on the starter kit and are not paying shipping or full price tax, which you would have to do if you purchased these items later.

The only advantage to buying the other starter kit items later would be that they would count towards your sales quota, but since you have until the end of June to meet your first $300 minimum quota, I'm not sure I would worry about that.

I just double checked this and the $99 kit definitely does not come with the free set from the Idea Book and Catalog.

I had to call DS for a recruit yesterday, and they confirmed that the free set you can choose does NOT come in the $99 kit. You still get the Polka Dots & Paisley, not the extra set.

Arlene! Go for it! I just got my number today!!!!

With the 99 kit you do not get the free $39 set you do get the Polka Dot and paisley tho.

The way I looked at it is ~ if I got the 199 kit I had to pick sets at the prices they decided and get tons of stuff that I already have ie the scissors, pastels, etc. If I got the 99 kit then I can pick the one set, ink pad, paper and still have 100 bucks to put toward my first order at 30% off and I would get to decide what I spent it on!

NOW if you dont have all the things listed in the 199 starter kit it is a really good deal but again you can buy those things on your first order and get SAB sets to boot if you go with the $99 kit!

I'm sorry I gave the wrong infor on the $39.95 set with the sign up...I read and read that part...I don't think SU did a very good job clarifying that in the "objective" area under the recuiting during SAB....I appolagize for the confusion.
