Default Question on Copics

I am interested in purchasing some Copic markers and I was wondering what color family would be better to purchase. I am interested in getting the 72 color set, but don't know which colors are better A or B? If any of you have these markers, what do you think?

Group A

Group B

Let me know...
Thanks, Erica

Personally I'd try and find the sketch markers.... they're airbrush compatible. If not.... I vote for set B.

Just as a suggestion, you may also want to take a look at Ellen H's online store. She has done a lot of work and matched sets of Copics to SU colors. This is where I ordered mine from. :0) HTH!

Couple of things......

1)The Ciao are possibly becoming airbrush compatible, dont let that deter you from them. And how much airbrushing are you going to do even if you could?

2) I had purchased a set of SU matched copics from ATS and sold them here on SCS because you CANT blend with only SU colors. You do NEED all of them, LOL! I either wanted them all or non because I felt too limited with the SU colors only.

3) I upgraded to the 2 sets of 72 a month ago and LOVE them! In fact, I bought them from the same seller on ebay, hands down the BEST price I found anywhere and the shipping was fast!

4) Which set to start? I would go with 'A', I use the cool greys a lot more than the warm. Plus you'll get the colorless blender, and really pretty blues for the sky. Although I feel like I use the 2 sets pretty equally.

I think I'm gonna have to go with Elizebeth's idea and just break down and get them both! I'm getting some cash from my dad and brother...so I think they are going to buy them for me.:p
