Default question about retired stamps and cards

I just been viewing the cards by the names.I was wondering if there is a section that shows cards from back 2 to 3 years of the retired sets and also .
There are sets in the book like some wheels that do not have pictures of cards being done.Is this because no one has creating and downlaoded any for that title.or because it hasn't been entered it yet for that title.
I have recently bought some retired sets off ebay and was wondering where I can get some ideas from some of the sets that are retired.where do I look for ideas for these sets.

As far as I can tell, the cards stay in the gallery forever! That is why Daven has had to keep buying new servers :-)

In the gallery, the name of the retired stamp set usually has the word "retired" after it, but it stays listed. I know I have a set or two that there are no samples on here for it. It does say somewhere that you can request a new gallery for the set if you don't see one listed for your stamp set. I just end up putting those in my own members gallery, though.

If you do an Internet search for SU card galleries, you will also come up with literally hundreds of pages, usually well laid out and listed by stamp name. Some separate current from retired too. I used them before I found this site and called it home!

Hope that helps,

heatherJH

Default name of a retired set I bought??? please help

I purchased a retired 1996 set and I do not know the name of it. It must be one of the original DD sets though because it has instructions for using them on walls, et.

I will try to describe them. They are 6 stamps and they are tapestry like rope (2 stamps), a tassel, a 2 x 4 scrolly stamp, and 2 small ones that are a little ornate ones. Does anyone know their name?

Also, I would love to see some examples on how they can be used? Please someone out there help me. PLEASE.

Default search for samples

There is an easy way to search the internet for samples of sets not shown at SCS.

Go to Google.com and type your search field like this:

Stampin Up "Seeds of kindness" or whatever set you are searching for. It will bring up galleries with the set you are searching for. Google is the best search engine I've found for this. Good luck! HTH!
