Default publication submissions

I was just looking at the new issue of Papercrafts & saw instructions for submitting ideas for publication. Just wondering how much they pay you if they choose one of your ideas? Do other magazines pay more or less? Just curious:p

Thanks to anyone who might know!

Yes, Paper Crafts pays - it usually depends on the complexity of your piece.

Some mags pay, some don't...did you have any specific ones in mind?

Papercrafts was the one in particular I saw an ad for submissions. I was just curious. Is it really minimal, like $5.00 and a copy of the magazine? Or is it as substantial as $50.00? I really have no idea. Not that I could probably ever get anything published!!

You could definitely get some published - the key is to keep trying!

Paper Crafts generally pays $25 - $35 for a card; you do get a copy of the magazine as well.

Most of the mags will send you a copy, regardless if they pay or not. It's just kind of a learning process. HTH! (And you should give it a try!)
