Default PSX stamps

So I heard somewhere that they were going out of business, anyone else heard that or did I get it wrong?

Yes, I understand that Monday is their last day in business. On some of the stamping chatboards they are saying that big chains are advertising selling them out at discount.s

Hmm...I wonder why their website doesn't say anything about it. I thought I'd check it out and see if they had anything on clearance, but then I thought maybe I had it wrong because there wasn't a word on there about it.

I checked the website too, then I called the 800 customer service # to see if it was true. It's true - they are discontinuing their stamp department.
:(

Here is what the Duncan (Parent company of PSX) stated:

It is already on the "street" but I want you to have the correct information
so here is the news just as Ann Donnelly, Manager Distributor Sales Duncan Enterprises emailed to us: At Duncan, as in every company, we continually evaluate the complete picture of our business and examine areas of strength, opportunity,
and growth. In that light, we examine the productivity of each product line
within the respective category. PSX is a great brand with a strong following, with designs that consumers love. We have been very excited, preparing for CHA and getting a new collection ready to launch. Unfortunately we have realized that papercrafting
is not a category for our future - we are best at glues, fabric paints, and
ceramic products. We need to focus our energy on those core product ranges.

For Duncan we feel that this category will not contribute to our long-term
continuous success and profitability. We tried to sell PSX as an on-going business, but we have received no acceptable offers. Therefore, we have taken the difficult decision to exit the business, at least as it is known today. I know this is disappointing to you - we are very disappointed ourselves. Please know that we did not make this decision lightly.

Details you need to know:
We will not be exhibiting PSX products at CHA.
We will not be writing orders in the booth at CHA.
All items are available while supplies last.
There will be no additional catalogs printed.
We will not release the products originally planned for the 2005 collection.
We will continue to sell PSX branded items as long as stock is available. We are, however, working to sell all products as quickly as possible.
