PSSSSSTTT!!! Are ya' gonna come play?

Got yer rubbah, ink, and paaaaay-pah at the ready?

Have you seen the purdy banners?

It's practically here!
Just around the corner . . .

Holy moly, me, oh my!!!
Three whole years have just passed by!

Goodness gracious, it has flown!
Just look at how much we have grown!

We've been very, VERY busy!
Behind the scenes, it's all a tizzy!

Challenges you'll wanna try,
Every day the ink will fly!

We hold Fan Clubbers oh so dear,
For their support throughout the year! http://www.millan.net/minimations/sm...eartshape2.gif

Inviting you with all our heart,
We cannot wait to see your art!

We'll stamp and chat throughout each day,
You'll be *so* glad you came to play!

Plan to use just what you've got!
The need to shop, we think you'll not!

Away from home, afraid you'll miss?
Worry not, we've got it fixed! ;)

And, when all is said and done,
We'll all have had a ton of fun!!!

I'm sure Dr. Julie can diagnose that for you. Problem is the medicine is so hard to take and whoo wants to be cured anyway??

lesliespringer 07-23-2007 01:51 PM

Oh! Will I be able to be up that early?? When it is 9am your time, it is 5 am my time. Who wants to wake me up and have coffee ready??

FubsyRuth 07-23-2007 02:23 PM

Good point about the time difference Leslie - I need to check what time it will be across the pond in the UK!

http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/hexer.gifDoc Rubbah prescribes:

4 stamping challenges daily, 7 days consecutively, with 8 challenges on Saturday and Sunday, to cure what ails you.

Avoid all non-stamping activities, including work, porcelain throne polishing, and any other household tasks.

May be taken with appletinis.http://www.millan.net/minimations/sm...tinismiley.gif

Do not skip challenges or discontinue stamping unless directed by your doctor.
May cause excessive euphoria.http://www.millan.net/minimations/sm...lissysmile.gif

Possible side effects may include giggling, inky fingers, pretty stamped projects, and may also be accompanied by adrenalin rushes.

I think you should come down w/ that aforementioned mystery stampers disease, take Dr. Julie's advise, and send the rest of your family on that camping trip while you "recuperate" at home. You wouldn't want to "infect" the rest of the family!

stampin-sunnychick 07-23-2007 07:27 PM

LOL! This is awesome!

Are we really getting that many challenges?

MWDStamp 07-23-2007 07:39 PM

I am bummed, I am at our cottage and have only a small supply of stamping stuff. Not to mention on incredibly slow dial up internet connection. I think it would take a day to upload a card. Can I take part when I get home in mid-August?? I have not stamped in over a month and about to burst.

Oh...I don't get me wrong, that was one of the main reasons we bought a trailer! Hee, hee! Because if we were to go "camping", I wanted all my comforts too! I will have some projects with me, but because the event doesn't start until after we've left, I won't know what I need...and if you could see all my "gear", you'd know that I can't just pack it quickly up and get it all in the trailer! Hopefully on Saturday I'll have time to play...and maybe on Sunday too!

Inkalicious 07-23-2007 10:49 PM

Sooooo... does it just start Wednesday with a challenge?
Are we gonna know *aforehand* what we need for the week??
Am I clueless????????

FubsyRuth 07-24-2007 01:39 AM

Tandra, it was on another thread about the Dirty Dare week that there is no shopping list - so we're not getting any sneak previews of what the challenges are likely to be!

Prepare to be surprised LOL! :D

Some of the ladies on the other thread said they are going to pretend there is a shopping list and get a few supplies anyway - good plan!

FubsyRuth 07-24-2007 01:45 AM

A quote from Julie's excellent poem in the opening post:

Plan to use just what you've got!
The need to shop, we think you'll not!

smitty2004 07-24-2007 02:40 AM
