Default Please give me your advice!

I need to get a program that is very user friendly. I want to do some digital scrapbooking and such, and I have always just done stuff on microsoft word. Please help me out. I downloaded a free trial of photoshop elements, but I just sit and stare at it because I am clueless.
TIA!!

Default PSE help

Try googling "Photoshop Elements" tutorials etc to get some starter info.

Even though I own and use PSE and several pretty powerful photo editing programs on occasion, my program of choice is Microsoft Digital Image Pro which used to be called Picture It. It has a much simpler interface and yet has a lot of sophisticated options under the hood, so to speak, for when you want to venture into more sophisticated options.

Unfortunately I don't think I've ever seen a free trial download for DIP. However, you can find the software versions from a year or two ago online for probably less than $30.

I use DIP and ScreenHunter (a screen capture program) daily for things like capturing and printing out MapQuest searches; copying cards I want to CASE from SCS; etc.

Have fun with digital scrapbooking .... I LOVE not having to search for hours to get coordinating accessories for my scrapbook pages.
~Cheers
