Pinterest project

It's the end of winter, and my eyes are hungry for color! Sometimes I see things on Pinterest that are so cute that I have to make them. I fell in love with these little boxes, and searched high and low until I found this website with a template that I could follow. http://hobby-di-carta.blogspot.com/2...rta-bacio.html I decided to make some little spring gifts for friends. It was so much fun, and the bright colors were just what I needed to perk me up. I stamped a branch with some distress ink, and cut out a bird to go on top. Each box is a tiny 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches, and will hold chocolate of some kind, maybe a Lindt truffle. I figured a gift of chocolate is always welcome. Now I'm thinking that I might make some for a craft fair that I'm doing in a couple of months. What do you think? Any input would be appreciated.

I think those are adorable, and they've reminded me that I have a die to make mini milk cartons that has never been used (similar concept to this). I think Easter gifts are going to happen... Thank you!

Those are super cute!! I have not seen that design before with the wood dowel...lovin' the bird on it too. Does it bob a bit if you tap it?

Only cuz you asked...I wonder if you raise the branch if it would look more like the bird is sitting on it from the front view? The curving leaves would go up the fold side...And then maybe another branch the other direction so it is like a tree....just a curious thought..... they are fine just the way they are

Yes, I've seen those little milk carton boxes, they're very similar and cute. These little boxes are so versatile, so many different things you can fill them with. And of course so many beautiful papers to make them with!

No, the bird doesn't move, but it could be made to do that! I like your idea about moving the branch up further, will have to give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion.
