Like many of you, I am totally addicted to Pinterest. As a new demo, I began setting up boards for stamp sets to help me decide which ones would be the most versatile for me to buy first. Then I got to thinking, it would be good to show a couple online customers who don't live near me. You know it's kind of hard to invite someone over when they live 1000 miles away! Anyway, they love these boards, and so do the girls in stamp club. Then I showed them to some other demos and they liked the idea too.
I know I'm not the first or only one to think of doing this - surely not. Anyway, I thought it might be an idea that some of you would like to do too, or if you want, you can look at mine. Just click on the link to my blog and on the right you'll see a Pinterest link.
I love to see people's boards organized this way. I followed most of yours :-) If you know of others with similar styled boards by stamp set, please send some recommendations. Thanks!

Michelle, you're the one I was trying to remember! You and I have pinned each other and typed to one another on here before. Leslie asked if I knew of anyone else who organized their boards by stamp sets. If it's not you, it's that lady.... I can see her face... maybe her name is Judy something. Dang it! I'll remember eventually! lol
You know, I just saw a couple cards on their made with the Happy Hour stamp set. Now I think I just might have to have that one! Just seeing a couple examples gets my creative juices going and I can think of lots of things to do with it. Like on my business cards, a party idea is "Cocktails and Cards" well here's the stamp set to make invitations with
And then there's the 99 cent fabric from the clearance rack? Well I ordered some, not knowing for sure what I'd do with it, other than making rolled fabric flowers. Well, on Pinterest is a cute sack sewn with it and embellished with a stamped decoration.
Ladies, you have great pinterest boards ! I just sort of glanced through them, but put them in my favorites so I can go back and take my time on them. I love pinterest !

Did you see the fabric bowl and necklace made out of yo yo's?? OMG they are gorgeous! SU Fabric I want to make them both! I think you can make that bowl without sewing. I remember learning how to make a coiled basket in a high school art class. We rope and yarn, and just wove the coils together with the yarn threaded through a needle. So I'm thinking.... why couldn't you wrap the clothesline with the fabric and then coil it by weaving yarn in out of the the coils to hold it together? I'm going to try this.

I saw the bowl and absolutly loved it. It would make a wonderful gift.
I have thought about doing boards for my favorite or most used stamps sets- I loved your organization!!! I agree, it is great to see all what you can do with a stamp set! I see a set and think, no, I don't need it, .....I might need to do some reorganizing on pinterest!!! I love looking at people's cards and ideas!!!!

The person who originally pinned the bowl did not link it back to the blog. I read the url and went back to the home page, then looked back a few pages, but couldn't find any details about it.
My Grandma used to make the coiled fabric baskets. She tore her strips of fabric and wrapped them around the filler cord and then sewed the coils together by hand. I still have one of her baskets in my kitchen with my hot pads in it! In this picture she is making a rug probably from used panty hose or blue jean strips. I have one of these on a bench on my porch. She was quite the lady, my sweet grandma and mother of 16....my hero!

That is soo sweet Wow 16 children, bless her heart!
I'm still thinking I can make a coiled basket with no sewing. Just weaving yarn or jute in and out between the coils. When my fabric comes, I'll try it.

It sure is addicting Wanda! Yesterday I had to MAKE myself stay away from them, because I had closets to clean out! lol After I finished the closets and reorganizing my studio again, I went to Pinterest to get inspired. This morning I'm ready to create
