A company called Color Workshop used to make a tool called Perfect Layers and it sold on QVC. On Ebay, I saw it listed as a stamping up tool. It is not listed in the catalog. Anyone have any idea where to pick one up? I love mine and would like to get one for a friend. Thanks.
Julie
Stampin Up used to carry the Perfect Layers Tool. I got one on e-bay. I tried to get the one from QVC. I had it reserved & it was never sent to me. I wish I knew of someplace to send you other than e-bay!
When you find it I would like to know as well. I love mine and I too purchased mine on QVC about 4 years ago now. Anyone who hasnt tried it should, it makes for such a clean and perfect background when you mat your photos! My daughter just started and i would like to get her one for christmas
I think I have a spare. I say "think" because I vaguely remember my SIL buying one and then deciding she couldn't learn how to use it. Let me know if you're interested and I'll take a look in her stuff that I still have. (She passed away a couple of years ago.)
Please email me directly if you find it, I am very interested. Thanks.

I just had a lady contact me through my DBWS asking if I had a Perfect Layers tool and wanted to sell it......but I'm not ready to sell mine yet....so if you have one and want to sell PM me and I can give you her contact information.
Perfect Layers - they still are on the market, Aug 2011
Hi,
I recently burned a hole in my Perfect Layers cutting mat (accidentally laid it on a tracing box for a minute), but I can use any old cutting mat.
The below site is selling the original two Perfect Layer rulers (for 8 different widths) for $19.99 (Aug 29, 2011). They are also selling three of the rulers (for a total of ten widths, two extra) for $26.99.
Initially I bought the original two rulers/mat/knife on QVC back in...2004? or so. I don't know why QVC or HSN doesn't pick this set back up and sell them again, because I haven't seen anything like them and I have read many people wishing they could get them.
You can use any cutting mat and utility knife. It's their cool rulers that make matting around anything super easy!
