Great idea to start a new thread for the new year Chris. Maybe this will bring better things in 2021 for everyone, at least in the craft world anyway!

Funny that you mentioned not ever buying the same stamp or die. I never understood how people did that. I mean, who doesn't know what they already own?

Not long ago, I also ordered two of the same stamps -- at the same time! Thankfully, the owner of Stampscapes emailed me to let me know my mistake. Now, where I did I put my brain?

From what I hear, it's pretty common for people to buy the same die or stamp more than once...and even multiple times. I keep a list of stamp sets that I've gotten from some companies, and I also organize and store my stamps by company if I have more than a few by them. That way I can check my stash before I buy something...to make sure I don't already have it. Seems like, we really like certain things, and so we see it...and like it again, haha!
Oooh, I always love the Stampscapes stamps, and really like watching Kevin's videos. I don't have a single one though, but still use his techniques on scenic projects. Hmmm, I do have some scenic stamps that are very similar to Stampscapes...maybe I need to go check them out and see who made them to make sure I don't buy a duplicate some day.

I sent out a number of PIF's in December and that was a fiasco. Due to high holiday mail shipments, along with COVID and winter storms, two packages got delayed. One of them, (the largest one) is STILL not delivered, but is slowly inching its way across the US. It stalled for a whole 5 weeks without being scanned and I had to go to my post office for them to run a check on it. I was sure it was lost, but hoping it eventually gets delivered.
The postal service should be back on track, more or less, by now. What a crazy year 2020 was..and things are still out of whack. I'm just grateful to remain well and safe in my home with all my craft supplies, haha!

Wondering if anyone has, or knows of anyone who has, a want or need for free cigar boxes. Over time, I have altered and personalized them for just about everyone I know, and recently, a couple of people have taken possession of some. This has lead me to wonder if anyone else may have an interest in one or more. I get them from my brother-in-law who loves his cigars. I would, of course, pay for shipping, and be happy to post pictures if anyone wants. Thank you...

it looks like the 2017 is part of the stamp, but I guess one could cut that off.

My computer went on the blink a couple of days ago and I've been on internet withdrawal! Had to use my husband's computer, but it was more annoying than helpful as he has all kinds of pop up blockers on there, and none of my passwords are saved etc. I was only able to get on after he went to sleep, so now I'm happy to say my computer is working again, yay!
So, instead of spending a lot of time here, I've been cleaning my craft room and reorganizing (an ongoing situation) and found a bag of things I had set aside to list as PIFs. I hope to list things by early next week, but first I need to clear a walking path through my craft room.

Wow Pam, you must be a stamp-searching genius because I could NOT find that when I did a search. I see that I put a comma before 2017, not realizing that it's all one name, Anyway, I'm guessing this is the one, and you're right about being able to cut the 2017 off. I don't think I've ever seen a birthday stamp with a date as part of it. Thanks for searching.
