Default Pastel Question

Hello. I don't use my chalks very often. After I color a card in with chalks, should I spray it with hairspray or something to keep the chalk from spreading or rubbing off? Thanks for the help!!

Yes, if you want it to stay "fixed" to the card. Just make sure it's cheapo stuff that doesn't have "oily" additives ie. vit. E.

There is also some expensive artist spray fixers made specifically for this purpose you could try. Check your local art supply store for those.

I have never sprayed anything on my cards that I use chalk on. They look swell and don't seem to smear.
