Default Papertrey is Awesome!!!

I know they had issues awhile back with being slow or something to that effect, but they are amazing now!

I started ordering more of their stuff as their shipping is still reasonable to Canada (THANK YOU Papertrey for that) and my last three orders shipped so fast it made my head spin!

Their product is top quality and beautiful, they are my go to company to order from now!

I have placed three orders in less than a week - I may need an intervention ;)

I,too, like their products. I have ordered several times and have been fortunate to have gotten excellent service. The one time something was missing from my order, I emailed them and was able to have the problem solved and my missing item sent to me quickly and without any hassle.

If you're a Canadian customer especially, PTI stands out.

They offer discounted shipping over $100 (and their shipping is reasonable to begin with, compared to the competition) and rewards points, etc. With a lot of other companies, this usually only applies to U.S. customers.

I just placed another order today, I forgot I had reward points

I don't think so. They have really stepped up to the plate, and they are batting a thousand as far as I'm concerned.

I think they just experienced some growing pains last year; they have taken giant steps to get back on track and have consistently stayed there.

Everything about Papertrey Ink is first-rate: the product, the design team, customer service; and they can count me as one of their loyal customers.

I totally agree. Couldn't have said it better myself.

I'm really, REALLY glad to read these comments! I think that their products are fabulous, but I was reading so many negative things about their customer service and how little they seemed to care about the issues that I was fearful of placing an order. Maybe now I can get a few of the things on my wishlist!

There are a lot of crafters that would be very happy if they allowed their products to be sold in the uk..

I am new to PTI and love them so far Love that there is free shipping for orders over $70 (or is it $75? I can't remember) and everything arrives quickly and well packaged. I had once read a complaint about the corners of a paper pack being bent and noticed that when I rec'd my paper in this last order, there was some sort of cardboard "guard" on it to keep that from happening Also love that there are dies to match stamps and that they are priced well so that you can actually get them and not just wish you had them!!

I used to buy from MFT until their shipping rates went crazy, as a Canadian customer I just can't buy from them anymore. I did love their stuff too though, but now I am strictly a PTI girl

I started ordering from PTI before I stumbled on the negative comments, and since I'd had no problems of any kind myself, I continued to order from them. I'm glad to hear others are having a good experience with them. They have great products.

Enablers!!! I haven't checked out their website until now. Curses! Yet another place to spend money! I just saved and spent with Verve, Lawn Fawn, and Simon Says... now I have to save all over again.

Thanks. (I think.)

Don't get me wrong, I love their stuff but as a Canadian, I think their shipping is atrocious! I can't order $100. all at one time and if I want to buy just a few sets, the shipping is over $20. I don't understand because I order from the States all the time and big pkgs. come to me in Ontario for $5.

Karen who are you ordering from that the shipping is that inexpensive to Canada? I need to check them out! Seriously, I would love to look at those sites

I typically order only stamps and dies from PTI, and choose the second cheaper shipping option, usually around $15, and after the discount (I do hoard my order until I can spend $100) works out pretty cheap.

I get where you're coming from though!

I am a fan as well. Shipping does take a few days longer on release night orders but overall they have really stepped up and do a great job.

You should give them another try if you haven't ordered lately.

I am hosting a swap there if anyone is interested, its in my siggy.

I love PTI! I always have...their quality is top notch and their designs are beautiful. I have never had a problem with customer service. I used to be able to buy their products locally but not anymore. =(

Girl where are you ordering from? I am in the States and can't find shipping prices that good. I won't order if shipping is nearly as much as the product. And like you I won't order $75-$100 worth to get free shipping...that's just not in my budget. So...Please do share? I need to know where you are shopping.

International friends, I would be happy to order for you and repackage for cheaper shipping. I order often and always get free shipping. I send to England,Ireland and Canada on a regular basis. It's no problem at all.

Did you have an LSS that resold them? Because to the best of my knowledge, PTI has never wholesaled to other companies-- they offer their product exclusively online through their storefront.

I'd love to try out PTI, but I was glad I didn't order when all h e double hockey sticks broke loose on their website and with the customer service issues. I'd like to know how you Canadian girls are getting shipping cheap cause I just went to place a "dummy order" for about $80 and the shipping would have been $40. 50% shipping isn't reasonable to me. I guess I'll have to investigate a little more to see how you're all getting the discount...

I was one of those people that liked their stamps, but never ordered because I read all the really bad comments about problems people had with them. I guess about 6 months ago I decided to give them a try because I just couldn't resist any longer their great stamps and dies! I have now ordered about 3 times and I have had no problems and prompt delivery. So I would recommend giving them a try.

A couple of years back I was in search of a nicer (pinker) shade of coral than SU! had and also some good quality heavyweight white cardstock, and I too fell in love with PTI's stamps and paper. The colours are gorgeous and coordinate so well together, the cardstock is an impressive weight, the stamps are so thoughtfully designed, and they offer that great recipe of coordinating ink, paper, and accessories that I've grown to depend on. I've placed two orders with them and had great customer service both times, although I was admittedly nervous after hearing that many others had had a negative experience with them. I was impressed by the pricing on their paper and ink, especially compared to SU!, though I have to say the cost of doing business across the border (I'm in BC) more than made up the difference, especially when tax and customs charges and duty are added into the mix (I got hit with all of the above on my two orders so far.) I do actually consider their shipping rates to be on the high side, but since the big leap in USPS rates that happened in January this year, they're pretty comparable with any other US company shipping to Canada. I've been avoiding shopping online in the US since then, but I think I will probably have to place another order with PTI as soon as they get their inks back in stock. I do sooooo love their colours, and there are so many stamp sets etc. on my wish list. Not to mention I'm getting low on my favourite white cardstock...

I would give them a try for sure, customer service issues are definitely resolved
My average order is usually about 5 stamps sets and 5-10 dies, so they aren't that heavy but dollar value is big enough to get the $10/off shipping (automatically done at checkout). There are always two shipping options to choose from, the first one is always pricey, I choose the second). After the discount, on average I pay about $10-12 for shipping to Canada, I'm in Airdrie AB. I'm sure depending on your postal code, shipping might fluctuate?

Whew, that is one sweet shipping rate!! I had to do a 'dummy' order myself to see if I could get comparable rates here to BC, and I guess I could get away with a $15.95 1st Class Mail International rate, down to an incredible $5.95 if I get the $10 shipping credit. BUT that only works if you don't order any cardstock- I tried a dummy order of $101 including 2 pkg. of cardstock and the shipping would be $37.56 ($27.56 with the credit). That's for Priority Mail International, the more expensive option, since once you have cardstock in your order the cheaper 1st Class Mail rate is no longer offered as an option. Just for kicks I tried to see what it would cost if I ordered $100 of just cardstock and the shipping (again, just Priority International was offered) would come to a whopping $67.25!!! The $10 credit would be a moot point at that rate...
Now to be fair, I did the same test over at Gina K. (since I would love to try some of her pure luxury cardstock I keep hearing about.) So to compare, a $104.25 order of just cardstock would cost me $65.95 in shipping, pretty much the same as PTI. With USPS setting shipping rates to Canada so high, there's no way that most companies could absorb that much cost and offer significant discounts to us; I just wish that there were companies here in Canada who could offer similar products in terms of both quality and variety. So far I haven't found any. But who knows, perhaps as fewer of us Canadians shop south of the online border, it will encourage some domestic stamping companies to start up...

I always had thought their shipping was high to Canada and never could justify spending over $100.00 - not that I couldn't lol. Next time you need to get to the $100.00 limit PM me I might indulge a bit ;)

Ya the cardstock is a killer (on any site you buy from, not just PTI, I never order paper just stamps and dies.
I agree, it would be nice to have some options here in Canada, more domestic companies would be awesome!

I'm so glad to see that things have improved with PTI's customer service. It's so disappointing to order fabulous product only to see it turn into a customer service nightmare. Kudos to PTI for fixing the problems.

I used to think PTI shipping rates to Canada were crazy expensive but now it seems that other companies have followed suit.

My last MFT order cost around $20 to ship and then I got dinged with another $20 in brokerage/duty.

Luckily I live close to the border so from now on I'm going to ship to one of those parcel stores and pick up when I go over the border. They only charge $5 per parcel.

So I may just try order from PTI bc now their rates aren't as bad as they used to be LOL!

I feel your pain! I loved ordering from MFT but cannot justify spending $20 on shipping, and $27 on brokerage fees - that's what my last order cost me to get here. Great that I had it within a few days, but not worth the cost. If I want their stuff I get it via SimonSaysStamps now.

PTI, TAWS, Casual Fridays and Verve are still quite reasonable with shipping to Canada. If anyone knows of any other good sites with reasonable shipping to us Canucks, please share!

I have been on a PTI kick so have been getting $10 back on shipping after dropping over $100 per order...I really do need an intervention!

I also shop with Simon Says and the shipping on my last order to me in Canada was $5.98...I can totally handle that!

They offer discounted shipping over $100 (and their shipping is reasonable to begin with, compared to the competition) and rewards points, etc. With a lot of other companies, this usually only applies to U.S. customers.

I just placed another order today, I forgot I had reward points
oh no...I have a feeling I may let my fingers go shopping again today.....my PTI cardstock is getting low......

I don't understand because I order from the States all the time and big pkgs. come to me in Ontario for $5.
I was just reading thru the post, and I think the shipping they are referring to is for stamps, and other lightweight item...but once you get to the cardstock the prices are through the roof!!! Really high!! Another reason for a PO Box at the border...

I've always loved PTI and was very sorry for all the brew ha ha that happened a while back. I have never had a problem with them personally, always got my orders in a timely way (just know release week is going to take longer) and love, love their product. There really is nothing like them on the market!! I just made an order yesterday morning and that afternoon got a shipping notice!

This makes me very happy to read. When a company blows it and then fixes their mess... that's wonderful. WOOT. Sure, I'd rather they didn't muff it to begin with, but once it's happened...
