I'm sure there are enough people like me who think their regular prices aren't bad at all and will purchase at regular prices that they don't really need to have sales. Plus for me in the States, the free shipping after a certain amount pulls me in, too. There are a lot of companies that I'll only purchase from when there is a sale and get free shipping because the regular prices are really annoying high without the specials. I don't have a problem with PTI's prices, so I don't need a sale. Sales are always nice, but not always necessary.
They do give a free "Anniversary" set to customers who buy 12 full-price sets during the year in lieu of having a sale. Sort of a "frequent-flier" advantage.
I have never seen a sale...but...their prices are wonderful for the dies and stamp sets and their paper is so yummy!!! I am so hooked on white, vintage cream and Kraft...now Pure Poppy as well. Fast service too. I'm a well satisfied customer of PTI!!!
I love all things Papertrey....I own a lot of the new dies and I love them...what a great concept..and it is catching on in all the companies it seems...better for us right??
blessings.
LOL, me either! i usually go in with a friend locally so we can take advantage of the free shipping without committing to that individually --- altho right now in my cart, i don't need her.
Every time they start with their new reveals for the month, I always say "I'm in soooo much trouble". and that usually is true by the time the l5th comes around.
Trouble here too... I like 5 of the 6 things they've previewed so far.

I would really love to buy things from PTI but their shipping to Canada is just outrageous. $20. is just too steep for me when I can buy similiar sets that are the same size and ship for under $5. I just placed an order at Amuse....3 stamps and only $3.30 shipping and it got here in a week....wow! I just asked for a more inexpensive way to ship and they were quite willing to do that.

Don't feel bad Karen, even their threshold for free shipping to the US went up some time ago. I find myself hard pressed to justify spending that much $$ to qualify and can't see paying the price to ship cardstock/stamps to my door otherwise. So I just stock up once a year and wait on order the sets I want (if any) then.
