Question Paint can instructions

Hi! I have been looking at the cute paint cans posted in the gallery. I also have the paint can template that was posted earlier. I would like to try to make one, I would like to have a few more instructions. How to you get your cardstock to stick on the can? Also, what about the lids? I appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks

If you do a search, you'll find a ton of threads with instructions!

(I find sticky strip to work the best)

My grandmom (2uplines up) suggested for me to try the Crystal Effects instead of the sticky tape.
SO I did and it worked great. And it is cheaper than going through all the Sticky tape, you can piant it on the backside of your cardstock and position it on. I haven't really tried covering the can with cardstock the one time I did it was so thick and hard [for me] to work with. SO I like to use background paper or use the Designer Series that SU sells easier to manage.
