Packaging of Card Sets
I have received several orders to make gift sets of 10 cards. I've only done this once before (at our annual golf outing where we had a silent auction) and I used a wicker basket, which was okay. However, for these orders, people want to give the cards I make as a birthday or Christmas gift. What ideas have you used to package your card sets you make for others?

My friend found a card box template on this site. I think it was in the templates section. I was going to try to find a link for you, but the gallery is down for maintence...It's a really cute box and you can stamp it too!!

Another idea is on clearenvelopes.com there are crystal clear boxes that you could use for a set of cards. To add to the final look, you could wrap ribbon or raffia around the clear box.
I found some clear plastic bags at my $ store in the party section (about 30 for a $1.00) you could put them in there with some shreded paper filler at the bottom, tie it with some ribbon and add a pretty tag.

I like the clear boxes too. You can also check out www.cistamps.com for them. Another idea is to just tie them (and envelopes) up with sheer ribbon, make a bow, and attach a matching tag. This works great for sets of 5 or 6 cards.
I have used the large clear SU bags and made a topper by cutting a piece of cardstock 6x4 and folding in half lengthways. I then stamp the topper with something from the set used on the enclosed cards. Attach with two large gold or silver brad fastners. I have also used this method when making a card assortment for a set only I place each card in a seperate bag but still just use one topper. Hope this makes sense,
I just remembered seeing these recently, but if you do a search, I'm sure you'd come up with lots more!
HTH!
The one I was talking about was the 6 card box...we altered the measurements by 1/4" and then you have to trim 1/4" to keep it balanced. You might have to play with it, just use computer paper till you get the right measurements!
