New Year's Eve
I seem to recall that we had a New Year's Eve party here on SCS last year. Are there any plans for this year? I don't think I've seen anything mentioned -- or did I miss it?

Keeping this at the top.
That sounds fun. We usually get together with DH's siblings, but we aren't going to this year. DH doesn't see the point of staying up for New Years and DS has a new Ipod Touch, so I'll be on my own...

I thought I saw an announcement about challenges for the holidays the other day but haven't been able to find it since; I'll have to go back in my gallery to see if we did it last year;

Me too! There's too much pressure to have fun, which makes it not fun at all. And going out to dinner with a set menu for an astronimical price doesn't make any sense. I also worry about drunk drivers and what would happen to my boys if something happened to me. Not worth it. I'd love to stamp the night away...

Does anyone else have the song, "What are you doin' New Year's Eve?" going through their head when they read this thread? My version is sung my Harry Connick, Jr. ;)

Leave it to Lois to want to PARTY! LOL
Hey, if no one starts one, why don't we??? We could just post it in the "extra challenges area" under the challenges like the DDD and the others!

We could start at 7:00 -- each one an hour, and wind up at midnight! Then toast everyone and hit the sack!!!

And many thanks to you as one of the people who helped pull it together! It was my first challenge (note some of the amateurish submissions!!) but it was very fun and got me to experience creating under a time crunch!!
thanks for all the help with my posting difficulties too!
Happy New Year to you and your family!

WOW! I am so impressed. I checked out everyone's card for each challenge, and they were just beautiful! Next year, I'm staying home to play -- it would have been more fun.
