Default Plaid Maker

I am wanting to get the SU plaid maker...but I really would like a smaller version of it. One that is a card size. Does anyone know of another plaid maker that is smaller???

I don't know of any, but you could probably make your own out of transparencies/window sheets - similar to the masks you make for the faux postage.

I've not seen such a thing. I use the plaidmaker to make a full sheet of plaid then just cut it down when I want some.

Why couldn't you cut one in half? I've seen other threads on the plaidmaker, and it seems that some people find it hard to manage/handle. I agree, something smaller might be easier. And, you could use it to "plaid" just card fronts.

If you were interested in 'splitting' a plaidmaker, I'm sure someone on this board (maybe even me!) would be interested in sharing the costs.

I don't think the plaid maker would work very well if you were to cut it in half. One end would then be loose and it would be difficult to keep the lines straight.

Default plaid maker

I use mine for card fronts without any problems. I love it. I line it up on a cutting mad that has grid lines so I can get it straight on the card.

I was thinking the same thing.

Close to my Heart sells both 12x12 and 8 1/2 x 11, that is the smallest it seen, and with that, you can get 4 card fronts out of it.

I'm sure you're right! I guess I was thinking too far out of the box on that one ;)
