Talking NEW SU ACCESSORY!!! HODGEPODGE HARDWARE KIT!

Stampin' Up!'s new Hodgepodge Hardware kit, one of the fabulous new
accessories that will be released in our 20052006 Idea Book and
Catalog, is featured in the June 2005 issue of Rubber Stamper Magazine,
which has just landed on newsstands. The Hodgepodge Hardware kit
contains an assortment of shaped clips, label holders, ribbon charms,
buckles, fasteners, and photo anchors you can use on cards, scrapbook
pages, and handmade books. With approximately 138 pieces of hardware
plus 100 matching brads, this kit is an outstanding value at $26.95 us! The
kits come in three different finishes: aged copper, antique brass, and pewter.

As if I wasn't excited enough about the new catty!

Isn't that 11 cents for 238 pieces? Sorry...not trying to be a pain. I read it as 238 at $26.95.

Yes, that's 138 assorted pieces PLUS 100 brads equaling 238 pieces or .11 cents a piece. Of course, depending on when you buy and how much you buy, you could also be earning other things, like free stamps (during SAB), hostess sets and free merchandise (during one of your parties), etc. to help bring that cost down even more.

11 cents is actually not bad. At Hobby Lobby, a pack of Making Memories swirly clips is $3.99 for 24, breaking it down to about 17 cents a piece. I'm not sure what the other items go for, but I'm betting they're competitive. Plus, you get all of the other incentives for buying from SU, like hostess benefits, shopping from home, your demo's advice and inspiration, etc. etc. etc.

I'm betting this is going to be a big seller, and I'm hoping SU has prepared for it. Remember last year with the AquaPainter and the months of backorders? All I'm saying is, make sure to get your July order in fast!

Your right, I didn't see the 100 brads - good, thats better, I can handle 11 cents better than 20 cents.

Very exciting news! The cost seems very reasonable, and I also like the fact that I'll have the opportunity to add metal to my all-SU creations It'll be fun to see what the kit contains and what people will do with those new metal ornaments
I'm definitely looking forward to the new catalogue. (My wallet isn't.)

This sounds so cool, and right up my alley! It seems to be a decent price, but I don't think you can fairly add on 100 brads and consider them to be 11 cents each....You can usually buy the MM for 2.99 for 100!! Don't get me wrong, I will probably buy it anyway, just another POV....Kerilou

Cindy, don't you too hope that the new catty will have a better exchange rate? That sucker would be around $40 Cdn if they keep it the same...give or take a buck or two.....

Does anyone have a link to a picture of the accessories in the Hodgepodge hardware set?

I would love to see a pic of this set from the magazine if that would not break any rules. Thanks

I don't have the mag yet, but if and when I get it, I'd be happy to post a pic. Anyone else have it already willing to do it? I don't know when I'll get a chance to get to the store with three little ones! I'm excited to see it too, though!

It's posted at 38.95 Cdn ... so it looks like the exchange rate is going to stay about the same. :( I could live with the exchange changing. At least it's better than 2003-2004!
