SIL is/was a 7 year cancer survivor, however, her recent checkup tests revealed she has a rare form of cancer that there is no treatment for. She is currently visiting a TX hospital for further tests and to determine if there are any options. I have made a "Thinking of You" card but just can't come up with an appropriate verse for the inside. "Get Well" is not likely to happen. Any suggestions you wonderful ladies may have would be most appreciated!!!
I did find a thread here with lists of verses but they are in Word/Excel format and I cannot open those.
lm so sorry to hear about this, it breaks my heart.
My god daughter passed away a month ago from cancer, she was 19. U've sent these types of cards before.
I found a little sentiment from Amuse that reads "sending you sunshine" which I found to be just the perfect thing to say and then I could add a personal note.

I'm not sure what is appropriate either but here is a suggestion...again not sure if it will work for you but I'll put it out there...DRS Designs, www.drsdesigns.com has a "what cancer cannot do" stamp...here is a card I made with it...
I have been sending cards to friends going through cancer treatment and I have just put my little note inside without a sentiment and I think that is a fine solution too.
I make lots of cards for my church's prayer ministry, mostly encouragement cards. I have included the inside verses on most of the cards in the information section if you feel like browsing. There are too many to include here. HTH
Sentiments for that kind of situation are hard to come by. In fact, I find it so hard at times for a particular sentiment (per se), that I prefer just to make the outside of the card and then add my own private message for the family from my heart.
That's just my way of doing things and just an idea.
The others have given lots of great suggestions. I saw a card a while back that said you are my hero and another that said you are the strongest woman I know. I was really struck by those cards. It was a great way to express what we think of the strong men and women that face these diagnosis and still keep moving on with life and being with the people they love. Hopefully your family will see a miracle with this.
