Question Need Easy-to-Demo Card Layout Suggestions for Card Ministry

Hey, all - You have been *fantastic* in helping me figure out how to set up a card ministry at my church; thank you! I'm thrilled to report that the first meeting is set up and approaching!

Now I'm here with a new request...

If you have any suggestions on an "easy to demo" and "easy to mass produce" card layout, I would be indebted. Obviously, the layout doesn't need to be religious - any layout that's easy / pretty can be adapted.

I've been papercrafting for several years, so I'm worried I might provide too complex of designs for the group if some of the members are brand new to card making.

TIA!
-Amy

Hi Amy-
Take a look at the challenges on cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com. They would be very easy to demo and CAS cards are easilily put together and mass produced. Their simplicity is what makes them great!

Good luck!

I can offer a general tip ... if you have any mats/layers on your card it is much easier to align them using grid paper and even easier if the border is 1/4-inch (even though 1/8-inch usually looks better ... unless it is crooked :rolleyes

Also search the galleries for CAS (Clean and Simple) and OLC (One Layer Cards) and even Christmas because many times they are easily reproduced designs (due to volume often made).

HTH and ...

Happy Crafting!

The easel card is a good one for new paper crafters. It's easy and fun to make. Beate's tutorial is in the Resources section: Easel Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers

If you have a set with a big flourish, then something like this would be an easy and quick to mass produce card.

Good luck--and be sure to come back and show us what you decided to do!

I was going to suggest this site too; as a matter of fact, yesterday they posted a PDF for the last 15 (I think) challenges so you could print that out and choose from there! Good luck!
