Default Need color advise or idea

As soon as my Mixed Boquet stamp set gets here, I am going to stamp it in my main bathroom.

The bathroom is currently perfect plum, pale plum, with sage shadow walls. I believe I will use a darker shade of sage for the flower stems and leaves and then the 2 shades of plum for the flowers but I think I should introduce another color in the stamped flowers...what is your suggestion?

I really don't have another color in that bathroom, so whatever is suggested I guess I should duplicate somewhere, possibly in some accessories although the bathroom is fairly minimal as I really DON'T like stuff on the counter other than soap and a cup. I do have ONE candle...it's a very light sage.

Any suggestions would be welcome!

Thanks!
Rachel

I might go with a pale yellow. You could also go with a pale pink but sometimes I think that combo looks too little girlish. Try out the colors on CS first and hang it on your wall. Do a full sheet if you can to get a better idea. I love those colors. Maybe I could come and live in you bathroom. Make sure you upload the room when you are done. I know I would love to see it.

I would use yellow. I'm really not a "yellow" type of gal (I *love* pink), but I think the yellow will just look so pretty with the other colors.

Thank you for your suggestions. I got a pale yellow to try on the cardstock as a sample, but I also got a pale turquoise color. Just a shade lighter than Tempting Turquoise. I have a set of 2 shower gels, one lavendar, one clear and one turquoise that are just beautiful together. If I end up using the turquoise, I could easily do a bowl of turquoise marbles and a few other "embellishments" to tie that color into the bathroom.

Will definitely post pics when I am done!

Thanks for your help!

OK, I know this is pretty out there... but how about white? Some porcelain accents might be fabulous. I'm truly not trying to be fresh - sometimes I forget how great a neutral can be as an accent. HTH!

Tah Dah - That's IS a good idea too! I LOVE fresh, crisp, clean & simple. ESPECIALLY in the bathroom. I like it to be easy to clean and look as clean as possible too!

Thanks!

Default Need Color advise

May I suggest saffron! You can use it to accent the flowers, stamen and outline little pieces here and there. It will look as though you had an artist come in. Even in the leaves it would give an aged look. Have Fun!
