I have a table at a local Women's Expo. It's a huge expo with thousands of women in attendence. What should I make to sell at my table? Does anyone have experience with this type of event? Do you have suggestions on prices? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
There are lots of threads with ideas if you do a search under "gifts", but the best resource by far is the "Anything But A Card" gallery - wonderful ideas and inspiration here: Boxes, Baskets, Bags and Bows by marilynmac at Splitcoaststampers
Hope this helps.

I'd focus on the type of Women's Expo. Who will the attendees be? Got to do some market research!
So, is the Expo focusing on women starting up businesses? I'd have no scallops, but perhaps some bookmarks, holders for business cards, altered memo books, desk calendars. I'd stick to clean simple lines.
Is the expo on women and faith? Women and politics? Women and mothers? Women and health issues?
I'd go an entirely different route depending on why those women are in the building.

Knowing your market is sometimes a tough call. Has anyone run across any information that long-time craft show vendors use to plan their merchandise lines? The thread about craft show products and pricing has been very helpful.
I just had a craft fair in my home and made over $700 and more still to come. The BIGGEST sellers by far were Snowman Poop, Reindeer Poop, Reindeer Noses, Snowman Soup (sold over 40 of them) and ANY kind of gift card holder (sold several dozen of these in lots of styles.) I also had some ready made scrapbooks (most of them came from the $1 bin at Target or similar) and the other hot seller were hostess gifts - like packs of cards in DVD tins. The items that were NOT Chistmas-y for hostess gifts were most popular except for the soups and poops and gift card holders.
I guess the toughest thing is that this expo is in April. I don't think any of these super cute holiday crafts will sell too well.
The women's expo is for any business that has something to sell to women- doctors, Mary Kay, Paperpered Chef, Clothing Stores. If you use it- they will be at this Expo. It is advertised all over the place and held at a huge arena.
Last year I was the only papercrafting business! But I didn'e really sell anything. I just worked on booking parties. I got 13 bookings! But this year- I am expanding and I am going to at least make cards to sell.
